A turquoise blue glaze with a crackle effect overlies the Yxing clay of this lovely teapot and matching cups. The interiors of the teapot and cups are a brownish gray clay. The body of the teapot and its top are both ovals, while the finial is a curved, narrow block. The handle is elegant and functional with a circular buckle, where the thumb rests during pouring. Matching cups are small cylinders. This teapot will easily hold more than one serving of tea. The beautiful color and delicate design of this tea set are exquisite.
