Makes a great teapot for anyone that likes teapots. A vivid turquoise blue glaze with a crackle effect overlies the Yxing clay of this lovely teapot. The interior of the teapot is a brownish gray clay. The body of the teapot and its top are both ovals, while the finial is a curved, narrow block. The handle is elegant and functional with a circular buckle, where the thumb rests during pouring. This teapot will easily hold more than one serving of tea. The beautiful color and delicate design of Blue Egg are exquisite. This is a gorgeous collectible Chinese teapot.
