A deep gray-green, this lovely teapot has features that are at the same time contemporary and soft. The finial is a solid ball, about the size of a marble. The lid is round, complementing the finial. While most of the body is pleasingly round, the shoulder is almost square but with rounded corners. The handle is angular, and the sides of the teapot begin as rather angular as well. But the sides then give way to the rounded design. The four matching cups replicate the distinguishing features of the teapot. A really splendid tea set.
