70 grams. The high elevations and cool mists of Nanping County provide a nurturing environment for some of the best teas in the world. Our legendary black tea owes its name to an interesting traditon. In the old days, trained monkeys scaled the cliffs to reach the precarious plantings. They would select the finest tea buds, hide them in their vests, and bring them down the mountainside. Today, skilled human hands harvest our tea. Fermentation turns the tea leaves golden yellow. When brewed, our tea becomes a deep golden brown (almost the color of a monkey) and yields a bitter smoke and sweet fruit flavor. Steep in boiling water for three to four minutes.
