Contemporary teapot Yixing "Red Moon" is a wide cylindrical shaped teapot in very dark brown (the body of the pot and the top) and orange red (the flat upper portion of the pot). The teapot design is distinctive because the top is flush with the upper area of the pot and what is normally a raised finial is actually a circular indentation that permits the top to be removed. The handle is circular. This is a lovely yixing teapot, strikingly understated with a contemporary look.
